Back in the days when the Catskill resorts were thriving, Jewsih husbands would send their families up for the summer and then take a bus up and join them on the weekends. Once there was a dude ranch called "Westward Ho." One late Friday afternoon, although there were only two reservations, the dude ranch's courtesy van arrived from the bus depot with 9 guests. The manager said to the African American van driver, "You did a marvelous job! How did you get so many additional guests?" The driver answered, "I don't know, I just announced 'all aboard for the Westward Ho House' and they all started fighting to get on."
